Packaging of 0.5 kg

About the manufacturer

Guarani is produced by EBSA (Eno Brönstrup S.A.), a legendary Paraguayan company with over 70 years of expertise in yerba mate. The brand was launched in 2017 specifically for international markets, particularly Europe, while drawing on EBSA's heritage with the iconic Selecta brand.

How do you prepare Guarani Energia?

Prepare Guarani Energia by filling your gourd about two-thirds with loose leaf, inserting your filtered bombilla, and adding cold water first. Top with hot water around 70-75°C and steep for a few minutes. This energizing blend is excellent hot or cold, though many prefer it hot to fully experience the stimulating effects.

For those who want to immerse themselves in the South American tradition of drinking yerba mate, we have looked for the ultimate accessories. Accessories that provide a luxurious and authentic experience, taking your mate journey to a new level. We found it with this Imperial Mate Gourd.

This product is handmade by skilled artisans in a remote village in Argentina. It consists of a naturally grown gourd (a type of pumpkin) that is wrapped in special leather. The ring is made of German silver; an alloy of nickel, copper and zinc, and equipped with beautiful decorations.

Note!

Because this gourd consists entirely of natural products, each product is unique! The size, color of the leather and decorations on the edge are different for each gourd. The photos are therefore for illustration purposes only.

It is also extra important that you take good care of a natural product. For example, we recommend letting the gourd 'ripen' before using it for the first time (instructions are included). In addition, natural gourds are somewhat sensitive to the development of mold, so after each time the gourd is used, it must be cleaned and allowed to dry properly.

Original Parana wooden tiger gourd, made in Brazil from thick-walled gourd fruits. The cuia differs in shape from the classic Argentine gourd. It comes from a different part of the plant, closer to the stem, giving it its characteristic hourglass shape. Suitable for preparing Chimarrao-type yerba mate.

Brazilians have loved Chimarrao for a long time and this container was already in use before the European conquerors arrived in South America. Today, they are also very popular and many people in Brazil cannot imagine their lives without cuia and their favourite finely ground Chimarrao.

The calabash does not need to be prepared. Simply rinse it with warm water and it is ready for use. This is a natural product with handmade decorations, so each one is slightly different from the others.

Capacity: approx. 180-220 ml
Height: approx. 14 cm
Mouth width: approx. 11 cm
Depth: approx. 9 cm

This wooden calabash with the engraved Parana logo is a traditional and aesthetic choice for yerba maté enthusiasts. It is made from natural wood and provides an authentic and enjoyable drinking experience.

Each calabash is unique, with individual variations in grain and colour due to the organic nature of the material. Ideal for everyday use – we recommend allowing it to dry thoroughly before first use to ensure durability and preserve its natural charm.

Fresh, grassy and beautifully complex, this EU-certified organic and Fair Trade yerba proves that top quality and environmentally conscious production go together perfectly.

What does Kraus Organica taste like?

Kraus Organica tastes intensely grassy, with a freshness you rarely find in yerba mate, thanks to the brand's smoke-free air-drying process. As you drink, undertones of orange, fig and wood come forward, while subtle floral notes add extra complexity. The green character is fresh and herbal, almost tea-like, without the bitterness typical of smoke-dried mate.

About the producer

Kraus is a family business founded in 1894 that became a pioneer in certified organic yerba mate in 2001, after realising that their grandparents had always grown it the traditional way without chemicals. Working out of the province of Misiones, Kraus uses a distinctive air-drying system that preserves natural flavours and colour.

How do you drink Kraus Organica?

Prepare Kraus Organica with water at 65-70°C to bring out the delicate green character at its best. Fill your gourd, set your bombilla at an angle and enjoy the fresh, herbal notes that reward patient, attentive drinking.

Kraus Organica Pure Leaf is the premium refinement of Kraus's signature organic blend. With stems and dust removed entirely, only hand-selected leaves remain, giving a dust-free, elegant drinking experience that is as pure as it is complex.

What does Kraus Organica Pure Leaf taste like?

Kraus Organica Pure Leaf tastes clear and herbal with a pronounced grassy character, while notes of roasted hazelnut and raw sunflower seeds add extra depth. A fresh, earthy undertone keeps the profile nicely balanced and delivers a clean, soft flavour with no dusty or powdery texture. The experience is refined and more intense than the con palo version, without giving up any complexity.

About the producer

Kraus Organica Pure Leaf is Kraus's premium offering, made from their air-dried organic yerba from the province of Misiones. The additional processing step, in which every stem is removed by hand, creates a pure-leaf product that is the most refined expression of their terroir and production philosophy.

How do you drink Kraus Organica Pure Leaf?

Prepare Kraus Pure Leaf with water at 65-70°C for a perfect result. Fill your gourd with the pure leaves, place your bombilla, add the water and experience the clean, dust-free drinking. The refined processing produces a soft, bright green infusion that develops beautifully as you keep drinking.

What does Kraus Pionero Suave taste like?

Kraus Pionero Suave tastes gently flavored with light, nutty character reminiscent of raw cashews. Warm milk, flour, and subtle woodiness come through, while the aroma brings cedarwood and fresh-cut grass with bright, slightly sweet notes. The overall profile is deliberately underwhelming by design, a soft introduction rather than a bold statement.

About the manufacturer

How do you prepare Kraus Pionero Suave?

Heat water to 65-70°C and fill your gourd three-quarters full with Pionero Suave. The higher stem content makes this very forgiving for preparation, it naturally prevents harshness and bitterness. Enjoy multiple refills; the smooth character persists nicely throughout your session.

Kraus Silvestre is the brand's mint-infused masterpiece, blending their signature air-dried organic yerba with natural peppermint, pennyroyal, and lemon verbena. This is refreshment in a gourd; perfect for those seeking rejuvenation and cooling properties in a naturally herbal experience.

Kraus Silvestre tastes pleasantly refreshing with strong, awakening mint that dominates without overpowering the yerba base. The first refill brings surprising complexity, resembling gingerbread with delicate vegetal flavors evoking flowers. The overall profile is mild and soft, with the mint blending beautifully rather than creating an artificial punch.
