What does Kraus Organica taste like?
Kraus Organica tastes intensely grassy, with a freshness you rarely find in yerba mate, thanks to the brand's smoke-free air-drying process. As you drink, undertones of orange, fig and wood come forward, while subtle floral notes add extra complexity. The green character is fresh and herbal, almost tea-like, without the bitterness typical of smoke-dried mate.
About the producer
Kraus is a family business founded in 1894 that became a pioneer in certified organic yerba mate in 2001, after realising that their grandparents had always grown it the traditional way without chemicals. Working out of the province of Misiones, Kraus uses a distinctive air-drying system that preserves natural flavours and colour.
