Baldo is produced by the same company as the Canarias brand yerba, and it therefore has many similarities with its more famous yellow cousin. This yerba mate, made in the Uruguayan style since the 1920s, offers a very intense taste experience. The mix of finely chopped leaves, sticks and a touch of dust results in an infusion with a strong but pleasant bitterness, complemented by a subtle sweetness and creaminess. Baldo is Prepared with care and without artificial additives, preservatives or other chemicals.

Baldo mooie stap richting Canarias

3 jaar geleden begonnen met het drinken van mate.
Begonnen met de smaak Canarias tradicional en vervolgens vervangen door de Canarias serena. Beiden zou ik niet aanraden als beginnende drinker, deze smaken zou je kwa intensiteit kunnen vergelijken met het leren drinken van koffie beginnende met dubbele espresso’s.

Recent baldo geprobeerd en wauw moet zeggen dat een stapje terug op intensiteit en bitterheid maar wel met behoud van de fijne Uruguayaanse cut echt enorm goed bevallen is.
